Working for the Waimakariri District Council is an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference. The Council have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Asset Information Officer (Data) to join our Asset Information Management Team in the Finance Unit based in Rangiora.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the council-wide asset information management methodology, processes and standards and to ensure asset information is captured and entered into the Council's asset management (Technology One) and GIS (Geographical Information Systems) systems within the developed guidelines and standards and to maintain an effective and efficient asset information management service for all Council assets. You will work with a team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to customers both inside and outside the Council.

This role requires someone with two years experience in asset data management. Applicants will be highly motivated team players with a "can-do" attitude, a good eye for details and a solutions-focused mindset demonstrating a pragmatic approach. Having outstanding communication and computer skills is essential as is the ability to prioritize workloads.
