Health and Safety Administrator - Water Unit
Part time (20 hours)

The Council is seeking a part-time (20 hours) Health and Safety Administrator to work within the Water Unit based in Rangiora. Reporting to the Business Support Team Leader, you will have a dotted line responsibility to the Safety and Risk Manager.
The Water Unit manages the reticulation network, water, wastewater and stormwater treatment plants, the annual 3 Waters renewal programmes and capital projects for the Waimakariri District Council.
To be successful in this position you will demonstrate the following:
- A sound understanding of health and safety principles
- Two years of experience in a relevant health and safety role
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- A customer-focused attitude
