The Council is seeking to recruit two Technical Business Analysts on a full time basis at our service centre in Rangiora, North Canterbury.
We're looking for a savvy and motivated person to join our innovative Information and Technology Services team, where digital transformation is in our DNA. You'll be a trusted advisor in all stages and aspects of project delivery, and what you don't know you'll be keen to get stuck in and learn.
As part of our digital transformation we have an exciting roadmap of projects underway, and you will engage and integrate customers and stakeholders, delivering projects of high quality that meet the ongoing needs of Council.
You will be confident working on project development in order to come up with "win-win" solutions, and comfortable facilitating discussions with our internal customers to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured, documented and transformed into accurate functional requirements for the developers. You are then be responsible for leading and managing projects throughout the entire lifecycle.
You know what it takes to be a Technical Business Analyst. The key skills and competencies we are looking for include:
- 2-5 years' experience in business analysis and project management,
- In-depth understanding of how to implement IT systems, including ERP solutions.
- An understanding of relational databases, GIS, Business Intelligence (BI) Architecture, mobility solutions that include data capture on mobile devices is desirable.
We are looking for someone with the ability to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, an ability to bring new ideas to the table, and a passion for all things digital and a willingness to go the extra mile.
