Graduate Engineer

The Council is seeking a Graduate Engineer to work within the Civil Projects Team as part of the Project Delivery Unit, based in Rangiora. The Project Delivery Unit provides asset management and engineering planning, design, delivery, and development consultancy services to the Utilities & Roading Department and the wider Council.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled recent graduate with a Bachelor in Engineering. The Council offers a challenging work environment where you can really make a difference to the community with projects relating to the roading corridor and reserves.

To secure this position you will need to have:

  • A broad understanding of Civil Engineering principles;
  • The ability to apply analytical skills to solve problems;
  • Technical competencies related to design and draughting;
