Dudley Park Aquatic Centre Coordinator
The Waimakariri District Council currently operates high quality Aquatic Facilities in the North Canterbury region including Dudley Park Aquatic Centre, Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre and Oxford Community Aquatic Centre, enabling the Council to offer industry leading aquatic programmes and recreational opportunities.
The Councils' Aquatic Facilities are committed to providing a high level of customer experience to a wide range of users, and ensuring that each facility is being utilised to its full potential providing the highest value possible to our communities.
To assist with this, the Council is currently seeking applications for a Coordinator at Dudley Park Aquatic Centre.
As the Centre Coordinator you will be an organised and passionate leader seeking a role which provides direct contact with the customer and community. You will be responsible for organising the operational staff who deliver our services including their rostering, administration, training and development.
Industry experience and proven ability to work with a diverse customer base would be of benefit. It is likely that you will have had previous experience leading teams and knowledge of Learn to Swim, Lifeguard and Health and Safety, while not essential would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will need to hold or be prepared to complete the Pool Lifeguard Award and Swim Teach Award.

This role is a permanent full time position. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant who will be able to demonstrate the right attitude and experience levels.
